Intra Cleanse claims to be a simple two-step process. The Step One supplement contains “pre-cleaning” ingredients to get your body regular and flush your system. The Step Two supplement contains important, all-natural “post cleansing” ingredients designed to detoxify many internal organs including the heart, kidneys, liver, lungs and lymph nodes. At the top of their homepage you find the following statement: “Available Now Without a Prescription!” Dietary supplements are always available without a prescription so I find this statement rather misleading. Are they trying to imply that this product was once a pharmaceutical drug that was only available through a prescription?

Once we placed the order for the products, we received an email telling us that they have signed us up to receive their product each month automatically. All this without our authorization. See the full review for the contents of the email. Fiber supplements are most effective when used in a powdered form, yet Step One comes in gelatin, non-vegetarian capsules. Step Two also comes in gelatin capsules. Their colon cleanse contains Cascara Sagrada, which is not recommended for longer than 1 to 2 weeks according to the PDR for Herbal Medicine, yet they attempt to sell you the product for use month after month, without any type of warning.
